Coaster puts it head-to-head with places you've already rated in the same category, and you swipe for the better one.
The score comes from where it lands, so your favorite bar is a 10.0, and so is your favorite coffee shop.
Ambiance
Every session also records how the room felt, on three sliders: mellow to lively, cozy to sleek, classy to creative. Coaster draws them as a hexagon.
Each row is one slider. Its two ends sit on opposite corners of the hexagon.
Every slider is one line through the middle of the hexagon, with its two ends on opposite vertices. Slide toward mellow and the lively corner pulls in by exactly as much, so the shape can't say a room is both.
Lively is not a synonym for good. The radar describes the room; the score comes only from your head-to-head picks. A hushed pour-over bar can still be your 10.0.
The feed
When a friend logs a session, it lands in your feed as a coaster: a card the night sits on. Where they went, where it ranks for them, how the room felt, what they drank, and one photo.
No ads between rounds. Just the places your friends actually went.

24 hours
Short posts for things you'd only say tonight. Each one disappears 24 hours after you post it, and only mutuals — people who follow each other both ways — can see it.
Good for last-call plans, a bartender's name, or which boba place has brown sugar back in stock.

Story card
